Welcome to the Zach Goodyear Photography Blog!

I regret to say that after 8 great years, I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Zach Goodyear Photography. It's something I'm still passionate about, but with a growing family and my main career and love of real estate, I am running out of free hours in the day.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, please don't hesitate to contact one of my fellow photographers who are great: Rich Kalonick or Ryan Dunnewold.

If you are looking for a portrait photographer, please feel free to contact Sandy Burr.

Thanks for your understanding and patience!

Akins Twins - 6 Month Baby Photos

Despite a brief thunderstorm that sprung up all of a sudden minutes before our scheduled shoot time, I was still able to get some fun outside shots of the Akins twins who are now sitting up and full of smiles! Here are some of the favorites and the rest can be seen here.

Wedding Season Has Arrived!

Wedding season is gearing up. Since I only shoot 10 weddings per year, I usually book them early and since spring, early summer, and fall weddings are the most popular, that's when most of mine take place.

Starting this weekend with Kim and Dustin tying the knot at the Belle Meade Plantation, I'll be shooting a wedding nearly every Saturday for the next 3 months.

Speaking of Kim and Dustin, I had a meeting with them tonight along with their great videographers, Heather and Eugene Brown of Two Duce Two Cinematic Videography. They do FANTASTIC work, so if you're looking for a videographer, please do yourself a favor and check them out.

Check back in the coming weeks for a lot more wedding related posts. Have a great rest of your Spring!

Nashville Dog Photography: Meet Stella!

I had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot for a young pup named Stella yesterday. We met in Centennial Park and had a great time. I learned something new about dogs that I hadn't ever seen - Stella LOVES American Cheese! No need for traditional dog treats here, just break out some American Cheese and you have Stella's full attention.

Some of my favorites are below. The rest can be seen here. Enjoy!
