Welcome to the Zach Goodyear Photography Blog!

I regret to say that after 8 great years, I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Zach Goodyear Photography. It's something I'm still passionate about, but with a growing family and my main career and love of real estate, I am running out of free hours in the day.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, please don't hesitate to contact one of my fellow photographers who are great: Rich Kalonick or Ryan Dunnewold.

If you are looking for a portrait photographer, please feel free to contact Sandy Burr.

Thanks for your understanding and patience!

Kim & Brandon's Nashville Wedding at the Hermitage Hotel

Kim and Brandon had a magnificent wedding at the Hermitage Hotel recently. The ceremony took place in the beautiful Veranda followed by a cocktail reception in the main lobby. If you haven't been to the Hermitage Hotel, don't waste anymore time and get there. It's spectacular!

The Blue Tones band provided great entertainment during the reception which was held in the Grand Ballroom following a gorgeous seated dinner. All in all the evening was great and Kim and Brandon had a great time!

Of course, it woudln't be a wedding at the Hermitage without some shots in the famous men's bathroom!

A few favorites of the day are below along with a slideshow. The full set can be seen here!

Nashville Fall Family Photos

There isn't a ton of color left, but the Ginko trees are blazing yellow right now and were perfect for some of these shots. Despite the near tropical storm wind gusts, we managed to capture a little color before all of the leaves blew off.

The full set can be seen here!

Hannah at 9 months

Hannah got some shots at her grandmother's farm this weekend! It was the windiest day I've seen in a long, long time, but that didn't stop her from having fun. Here is a quick sampling, but check out the full set here too!
