Happy Birthday Mimi!!

Baby Mimi is turning 1! We met this weekend at Percy Warner Park to capture some of the last remaining fall color (despite the fact that it doesn't feel like fall at all - it's been 75 and sunny ever day!). Mimi is walking like a champ and was SO cooperative during the shoot. She has the most beautiful eyes which I think I caught well in a couple of these shots, but my favorite new move may be when her dad says "Touchdown!" and her arms go right up like a referee...hilarious! Happy Birthday Mimi! It's been an awesome year of photographs and I hope to capture many more in the years to come. Here's a look back over the past year.

Mimi turns 9 months old!

I did a photo session with little cousins Mimi and Sophie this past Sunday. Mimi's grandparents and Aunt were in town for a visit to celebrate Granddaddy's birthday. It was one of those amazing end of summer/beginning of fall days that was beautifully warm (but not too hot) and filled with a nice breeze. Mimi's family came out to Percy Warner Park first where we spent about 45 minutes getting some fun shots. By the end of the shoot, Mimi was conked out (see the last photo).

Baby Mimi - 3 months

I did a 3 month session for baby Mimi this morning (see her newborn blog post here). She worked the camera for us for about 30 minutes and then decided it was time to take a nap. Naps are actually a great time for me to get shots. Here are a few of my favorites. The full gallery can be seen here. Enjoy!

Welcome Home Baby Mimi!

This morning I was so excited to get a chance to photograph little Mimi who just came into the world right before Thanksgiving. She's the brand new daughter of a great family friend from growing up and she could not be more beautiful!
