Maida's 7 Month photos

I shot Maida's 6 month photos a few weeks later which was great as we were able to get her sitting up on her own a good bit. She is such an amazing kid, can't you just get lost in her beautiful blue eyes? We had a great time at her home and went outside for a few minutes, but the 95 degree heat put us back inside quickly. I really like this set and especially like some of the ones we shot in the kitchen with her sitting on the marble counter. My favorite one might be the black and white of Maida trying to be independent and sit up on her own, nice and tall, looking at the camera, and her mom pulling back to trust that she won't tip over, but you can still see a little nervousness in her hands. This is why I love photographs; there can be so much information in one instant.
